Listing privacy modes

Every listing carries one privacy mode, chosen by the seller when the stock is listed and shown clearly to buyers on the listing card and detail screen. It controls what each side can see about the other — nothing else about the listing changes.

Standard

Identities can be revealed when appropriate

Both businesses are named on the listing and in enquiries. Company name, trading location and verification badge are visible to any verified buyer who can see the listing.

Buyer sees
Full company name, location and verification badge
Seller sees
Full buyer company identity with every enquiry
Reveal
Already visible — no reveal step needed

Protected

Identity limited while browsing; shared with the counterparty on commitment

Each business's identity stays limited while browsing and making enquiries. If a transaction is committed, trading names and business contact emails are shared only with that counterparty so the transaction can be completed. Identity can also be revealed earlier by mutual agreement.

Buyer sees
Sector, region, verification status and trading history summary
Seller sees
Buyer sector and region until reveal is agreed
Reveal
Either side requests reveal; identities exchange when both agree

Fully Mediated

Identities hidden from each other; Stock Reach knows both

Buyer and seller never see each other's identity. Stock Reach holds both verified identities and passes messages between them, subject to legally required disclosures.

Buyer sees
Goods only — no identifying business information
Seller sees
Anonymised buyer reference and verification tier
Reveal
No reveal between parties. Stock Reach holds both identities and discloses only where legally required

Stock Reach always holds verified identities for both sides of a trade, including on Fully Mediated listings, and will disclose them where legally required. This platform does not process payments, invoicing, VAT, contracts or shipping.
